Just got it the other day...
(and no, I'm not talking about the guy in the pic or the Sock Puppet).
Isn't it dreamy? I had this phone in 1981 and it cracked and broke in 1984, so I'm reliving my teenage years.
I'm so giddy, every time it rings I wanna pick up the phone and cover the mouthpiece and shout, "I'M ON THE PHONE, MOM!!!

I'm still searching for my original portable Panasonic tape recorder. It was red and the same kind of flavor of design. I had it for years, I even used it to bootleg a concert for the first time (talking heads, central park, 1981)
I LOVE IT! I have one myself, in fact, back home in some box. It's poop-brown, baby.
I almost got a poop brown, but I wanted one exactly like my old one (next up is rainbow wallpaper, baby!).
Caryn, was your tape recorder those Panasonics that you could bend from an "S" to an "O"? I remember the AM radio models (my sis had one in blue!)
I HOPE you didn't lose the tape! That's priceless!
